Education and Licenses

  • B.A. in Geography / Environmental Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1995

  • Law degree from the University of Southern California (USC) in 1998

Mr. Rodrigue has also spent time studying abroad and has completed coursework in finance and project development.

Professional

Mr. Rodrigue began his career as an Associate in the Real Estate department of the prestigious San Francisco-based law firm, Pillsbury Winthrop LLP. While at Pillsbury, Mr. Rodrigue focused on a wide range of commercial real estate, land use and development and finance projects.

Following his years at Pillsbury, Mr. Rodrigue held senior in-house counsel positions with both a publically traded REIT and several private equity groups. Mr. Rodrigue has also served as general counsel to private family trusts, playing a key role in the restructuring and reorganization of several hundreds of millions of dollars of real estate and non-real estate assets.

Mr. Rodrigue has been a past instructor of Real Estate Law at UCSD, Extension Studies.
